GrantNet: Making information work

The funding maze

GRANTnet - What is it?

The GRANTnet website is an interactive product which allows a user to access the funding maze and by using designated search criteria, determine the funds that may apply to a specific project. The user will be presented with limited information about each of the funds that match the search criteria.

As a user you will have found the site via a GRANTnet Access Point (GAP) that is a third party organisation that is interested in assisting organisations within their geographical area to progress projects that benefit the community.

The GAP will receive details of the last completed search in a session and is able to provide more detail on each of the identified funds from GRANTfinder the market leading funding database, a sister product to GRANTnet and only available on subscription.

How do I access GRANTnet?

New Users - Complete the registration details on the log in screen. You must use a valid e-mail address as a password will be sent within a few minutes to the address used.

All other fields should be completed, with the organisation name being that which will be leading the project.

The user must tick the box accepting the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before submitting the registration details.

Existing Users log in - The e-mail address and password issued on registration is valid for unlimited use, including access via other GRANTnet Access Points.

Lost Password - This facility allows the user to re submit their e-mail address in the event of losing or forgetting the old one. The new password will be e-mailed within a few minutes.

What's next?

Search Screen - Once logged in the user has access to the Search Screen. The GRANTnet search mechanism is based on over 20 years of experience in the funding environment. GRANTnet recognises that there are two key elements in a search, the Organisation and the Project. A total of seven questions are split between the two elements. All questions must be completed.
